Eligibility Rules

Every receivable is tested against a comprehensive rule set. Each result includes the rule definition, threshold, actual value, pass/fail status, and source data lineage.

Aging Limits

Configurable DPD thresholds (30/60/90/120+). Receivables exceeding the limit are automatically excluded with aging bucket breakdown.

Cross-Aging

When a threshold % of an obligor's receivables are past-due, all receivables from that obligor become ineligible. Configurable trigger percentage.

Concentration Limits

Single obligor and group exposure caps. When an obligor exceeds the limit, excess receivables are excluded. HHI monitoring included.

Minimum Invoice Amount

Small invoice filter to exclude micro-receivables below configurable thresholds. Reduces processing noise.

Ineligible Categories

Rule-based exclusion of specific obligor categories, industries, geographies, or payment terms (e.g., 'See Contract' terms).

Custom Rules

Define custom eligibility criteria using a flexible rule builder. Combine conditions with AND/OR logic, set severity levels, and track exceptions.

Full Explainability

For every invoice, the eligibility engine shows:

Raw field values from source file
Rule that was evaluated
Threshold value (contract terms)
Actual computed value
Pass/fail determination
Source file name and row number
Computation chain (how derived)
Exception override history

Frequently Asked Questions

What is receivables eligibility testing?
The process of evaluating each invoice against predefined criteria to determine if it can be included in the borrowing base. Criteria include aging limits, concentration caps, minimum amounts, and custom rules.
What does invoice-level explainability mean?
For every invoice, you can see: the raw field values from the source file, the rule evaluated, the threshold, the actual computed value, pass/fail result, source file and row number, and the full computation chain.
What is cross-aging in AR securitization?
When a threshold percentage of an obligor's receivables are past-due (e.g., 50% over 60 DPD), ALL receivables from that obligor become ineligible. This protects against concentrated obligor credit deterioration.
Can I define custom eligibility rules?
Yes. The rule builder supports custom conditions with AND/OR logic, configurable thresholds, severity levels (error/warning/info), and exception tracking with approval workflows.
How are exceptions handled?
Exceptions can be flagged, reviewed, and overridden with audit trail. Override requires appropriate role permissions. Exception history is tracked per invoice for compliance reporting.
